Sonny Bill Williams caught reporters off guard today when he decided to cut his interview short, walking off seemingly not happy with some of the questions that were fired his way.
Williams was in South Auckland earlier today with former NZ Sevens captain Karl Te Nana promoting the New Zealand Sevens tournament in Hamilton next year.
The cross-code star was asked about the current state of sevens in New Zealand and whether the shift to Hamilton will help re-boost the tournament and fans' interest.
"I don't know what you are trying to say but I think from a public point of view like I said two thirds of the tickets have already been sold," said Williams.
"It's a great initiative from the NZR taking the tournament there (Hamilton). I can't wait to see the boys in action and hopefully in the next couple of years see the women get out there too."
Just as a reporter was in the middle of asking Williams another question, the All Blacks star interrupted her and cut the interview short.
"Thanks guys, thank you," said Williams.
