All Blacks first-five Beauden Barrett stepped in to lend his halfbacks a hand at team training this morning, evening up the numbers for a few passing drills.
With Aaron Smith, TJ Perenara and Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi the only specialist halfbacks with the All Blacks for the current Rugby Championship campaign, Barrett stepped in to even up the numbers.
Partnering Tahuriorangi, Barrett worked on passing with his left and right hands, before rejoining the rest of the All Blacks squad for training.
After sitting out last weekend's win over Argentina in Nelson, Barrett will be back in the mix to line up against South Africa in Wellington on Saturday night, with Steve Hansen to name his side on Thursday morning.
