Video: Scotland bitterly regret the 'one that got away' after near miss against All Blacks

November 19, 2017

A Beauden Barrett tackle robbed Scotland of a first Test win over NZ.

Scotland's players were left devastated after fulltime, having come within touching distance of a first ever Test victory over the All Blacks in Edinburgh this morning.

Beauden Barrett's last ditch tackle on Stuart Hogg secured a 22-17 win for the All Blacks, after a spirited showing from Scotland saw them with a chance of creating history at Murrayfield.

Speaking to media after the match, captain John Barclay spoke about his side's feelings.

"That's a proper Test match isn't it?," he said.

"You saw two teams who were going at it hard."

"Obviously we're gutted, we feel like that's maybe one that got away."
