Video: 'I've played longer than I ever thought I would' - Conrad Smith hints full retirement from rugby may be on the horizon

The former All Black says he has a few things to weigh up before he makes the final decision.

Former All Black Conrad Smith has expressed full retirement from rugby may be near as he gears up to play for the Brisbane 10s.

The 94-Test centre touched down in Australia with French club Pau ahead of this weekend’s Brisbane Tens tournament where he was asked how many more games he had left in him before hanging up his boots for good.

"I think it's more when other opportunities come along and it might be time to call it quits," Smith said.

"I think I'm getting near that stage, I've still got to work a few things out.

"I don't know if there's many games left in me, but I'm still enjoying it, so while it lasts it's good to go."

Smith played the All Blacks between 2004-2015 where he was part of two World Cup-winning campaigns in 2011 and 2015, before deciding to end his international career to take up a big-paying contract with Pau.

Smith is also recognised as a qualified lawyer outside of rugby.
