The All Blacks Sevens have won the Cape Town Sevens series after comfortably beating Argentina 38-14 in this year's final.

The New Zealand side held a narrow 14-7 lead at halftime before the floodgates opened as Argentina struggled to keep up with the razzle-dazzle play of Kiwis.

Joe Ravouvou scored a try in each half, with Vilimoni Koroi, Tim Mikkelson and Regan Ware also crossing before Sione Molia wrapped up proceedings deep into added time.

It is the All Blacks Sevens first title in 21 months - their last being in Vancouver in March last year.

The New Zealand side delivered their new haka, Tu - Te Toa o Te Riri, after the trophy and medals presentation.

The haka was unveiled last year during the Rio Olympics but today was the first time it was used to celebrate winning a Sevens World Series event.

It's their first win under new coach Clark Laidlaw, and puts them top of the 10-tournament ladder, two points clear of last year's series winners South Africa.

South Africa took bronze after overcoming Canada 19-17.
