All Black halfback TJ Perenara has joined the chorus of rugby players condemning Israel Folau over his comments that homosexuals go to hell.

The Hurricanes captain said in a series of tweets that he was 100 per cent against Folau’s comments while tweeting his support for young people who are struggling with their identity.

The 26-year-old also said he was donating to the NZ Falcons for their trip Amsterdam for the international gay rugby tournament, the Bingham Cup.

Perenara’s comments echo those made by Chiefs halfback Brad Weber, who said he disgusted to be playing against someone that said gays would go to hell.
