All Blacks coach Steve Hansen had the gathered media in stitches in Sydney this afternoon, getting a bit too creative with a metaphor, comparing himself to ex-coach John Mitchell.
Asked about the different learning capabilities of his different players, Hansen got very artistic in his reply.
"Every player has to find their own wheel that spins for them," he began before catching himself out.
"That sounds a bit John Mitchell-y that comment - sorry about that."
During his time as All Blacks coach, Mitchell was known for his often quirky use of metaphors and similes to refer to his players, tactics and opposition.
The All Blacks take on Australia in Sydney on Saturday.
