Shannon Frizell's rapid rise in rugby isn't causing sibling rivalry with his NRL superstar of a brother, Tyson.
The All Blacks rookie told media he and the New South Wales and Kangaroos rep had exchanged text messages about his selection.
"He just gave me a text and he's pretty happy for me," Frizell said.
However, the Dragons star wasn't the first one to find out the news from the Highlanders loose forward.
"I called my mum," he said.

"But I didn't want to tell her because she would tell everyone!"
