Savea, 26, is donning the goggles during this year's World Cup, in order to protect himself from a condition in his left eye.

Having worn the goggles against both Canada and Namibia, Savea is expected to don the protective eyewear once again in Tokyo on Saturday.

The All Blacks loose forward concedes that he's still adapting to having the goggles as part of his game.

"It's an ongoing process," Savea said.

"I'd love to continue to try and wear them, [but] I think it's just an ongoing process."
