The Waratahs had two opportunities to win the match at the death, but they bobble the ball at line-out time and Dane Coles gets his hands on the ball and boots it into touch.

TRY! Israel Folau makes a great break down the left flank, pouncing on a loose pass by Jedd Holloway. Folau straightens up the Waratahs attack then delivers a perfect pass to his left winger Curtis Rona who goes over to score down the left hand corner. Ardie Savea does well to get back to make a covering tackle but Rona is too strong and too quick.

Bernard Foley nails his kick from the sideline and the Waratahs now lead by nine-points.
