Wallabies' coach Michael Cheika admitted his side folded under pressure and that "a little bit of doubt" played a big factor in Australia's 54-34 Bledisloe Cup Test loss to the All Blacks in Sydney last night.
The All Blacks dominated the Wallabies in the first half, leading the home side 40-6 at the break.
A deflated Cheika said in last night's press conference that his side has a lot to work on defensively ahead of their second Test match against the All Blacks.
"I think it was pretty plain to see that our defence wasn't good enough at all," said Cheika.
"It's not attitude, I think it’s just it’s maybe just that little bit of doubt creeps in. When something goes against you early and you have been preparing a certain way, in creeps a little bit of doubt."
The Wallabies take on the All Blacks next Saturday in Dunedin.
