Tonight's a major occasion in Northland Rugby with Derek Browning making his 50th Mitre 10 Cup outing as the Northland mascot when the Cambridge Blues open this season against North Harbour.
Browning is just like any other player, with nerves and a passion for the jersey certainly in the mix.
Though for all the hijinks geeing up the crowd, Browning insists there's a line that must not be crossed.
"I'm protective of this outfit, I really am protective of it, I don't like it being pulled," he said.
