Kiwi Super Rugby teams are set to unveil a range of new special edition jerseys today ahead of the British and Irish Lions tour of New Zealand in June.
The range is set to be worn by each team during the Super Rugby season and again in matches against the British and Irish Lions.
The special edition Super Rugby jerseys have been specifically designed to showcase the territories each team represents as they aim to protect it against the visitors.
Battle-ground co-ordinates have been added to the sleeve of the jerseys that pinpoint the exact locations of the stadiums where the team will take on the Lions.
NZ Rugby general manager of the NZ Lions Series 2017, Nigel Cass, said the matches involving the Super Rugby teams will provide fans in the five regions the opportunity to see their side take on the best players of the Northern Hemisphere.
"The fixtures involving the British & Irish Lions and Super Rugby teams are unique and will be remembered for years to come," said Cass.
"It's great that the teams will wear adidas special edition jerseys for these matches and we’re confident they will prove popular among fans."
