New Zealand Rugby and the All Blacks seem poised to lose another star player to an overseas club, with reports saying flanker Liam Squire has signed for an unnamed Japanese club.

According to Stuff, 27-year old Squire has signed for an as of yet unnamed Japanese club, with injuries over the past three seasons limiting his All Blacks involvement to just 23 Tests,

Squire is believed to be eager to cash in on his value after the 2019 World Cup in Japan, with the high salary and lower intensity an appealing drawcard for the flanker.

Any departure by Squire would see the All Blacks and Highlanders man add to the raft of loose forwards leaving New Zealand, with Jordan Taufua having recently joined Leicester Tigers, while captain Kieran Read has signalled his intentions to play overseas.
