All Blacks and Blues winger Rieko Ioane is in no rush to take a break, midway through what could be one of the biggest seasons of his career.
With Steve Hansen insisting key All Blacks don't feature in any more than six straight Super Rugby matches this season, Ioane has found a loophole in the system, with the Blues' bye week effectively re-setting his tally of games played.
Speaking to RNZ, Ioane made it clear that he isn't planning on slowing down any time soon.
"Yea [I'm feeling] awesome. I'm still young and running around. A few of these older boys I'm sure are starting to feel it but, like a spring chicken, I'm sweet," he said.
"It's good. It's important to get as much game time as I can. For me, I just love playing and each game I'm improving.
"I know there's a lot of talk about when I'll take my rest games but I'm feeling good."
The 22-year old has featured in all eight of the Blues' matches this season, scoring eight tries, and is penciled in to start this weekend's clash with the Highlanders in Dunedin.
