With the 2019 Rugby World Cup approaching faster than ever, the All Blacks will be targeting another win for outgoing coach Steve Hansen, first-five Beauden Barrett says.
Having been involved with the All Blacks since 2004, Hansen announced in December last year that 2019 will be his last as New Zealand coach, with speculation rife as to who could replace him.
Speaking to Stuff, 27-year old Barrett says that the side are more determined than ever to claim this year's World Cup, as a parting gift for Hansen.
"He's had a fantastic career and obviously the job's not done yet," Barrett said.
"We all want to win the World Cup, retain the Bledisloe and all the rest of it.
"He's done a lot for me and my game and I thank him for that. We're not finished yet, we've hopefully got another season to go.
Barrett and the All Blacks will be in the hunt for an unprecedented third straight Webb Ellis Cup, when Japan 2019 begins in September.
