'It's definitely going to be a close game' - Former Wallabies prop on All Blacks Bledisloe Cup Test

August 17, 2018

Toby Smith is back in NZ playing for Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Former Wallabies prop Toby Smith was a part of the Australian squad last year in the Rugby Championship and is adamant his old side will front up against the All Blacks tomorrow night.

The 29-year-old front rower returned to New Zealand this year and played for the Hurricanes. He's set to play for the Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Smith is confident that the Bledisloe Cup Test between the Wallabies and the All Blacks at ANZ Stadium in Sydney tomorrow will be a tight contest.

"It's definitely going to be a close game I think and it will be really competitive," said Smith.

"They've (forwards) been in camp the last few weeks working very hard on that (set-piece).

"They had a game amongst themselves to prepare so I think it will be a competitive game."
