6:28pm

Good evening! We start tonight as the All Blacks leave the warm up for the changing sheds. A lot of new faces about to don the black jersey for the very first time.

PREVIEW

Having sent a number of first-string players to Europe early, Steve Hansen has named a very green - yet exciting - side to face Japan tonight.

Luke Whitelock leads an inexperienced outfit, with no fewer than eight debutants wearing the black jersey for the first time.

Japan meanwhile, feature a number of household names, captained by former Chiefs flanker Michael Leitch, while former Highlanders halfback Fumi Tanaka is on the bench.

The last time these two sides met - back in 2013 - the All Blacks proved too much for the Brave Blossoms, coming away winners 54-6. However, expect a tougher contest from the hosts tonight.
