Former All Blacks halfback Andy Ellis will line up against his former side for the Barbarians, when the two sides meet in London next month.
Ellis, 33, returns to the side, having captained the Barbarians to an unbeaten run in 2016, with wins over Fiji and the Czech Republic, as well as a memorable 31-all draw over the Springboks.
The move will see the former Crusaders star re-unite with coach Robbie Deans, at the helm of the Barbarians this year.
Ellis will be joined by a range of Kiwi players, with the quintet of Highlanders flanker Dillon Hunt, Chiefs duo Atu Moli and Dominic Bird, and Mitchell Drummond and Richie Mo'unga of the Crusaders.
The rest of the side will be announced when the team assemble in London next week.
The Barbarians will face the All Blacks on November 5, before taking on Tonga on November 11.
