After a difficult 2019, All Blacks winger Rieko Ioane is ready to finish on a high in Friday's Rugby World Cup third placed playoff against Wales.
Following a blistering start to his All Blacks career, Ioane has struggled to find his form in a stop start 2019, since losing his spot to newcomer George Bridge, and having to settle for a backup role.
That will all change this Friday night though, Ioane returning to the starting side in the bronze medal match against Wales in Tokyo, looking to stake his claim as the All Blacks' go-to number 11 for 2020.
