Wallabies rookie back Jack Maddocks may have the key to his side's chances of levelling the Bledisloe Cup series in Auckland and breaking a 32-year Eden Park hoodoo for the visitors.
Maddocks has a 100 per cent winning record at Eden Park - winning the one Super Rugby match he has played at the ground.
He was part of the Melbourne Rebels team that defeated the Blues 20-10 in June.
The 21-year-old was asked by journalists if he had any advice for his Wallabies teammates after he revealed he is one-from-one at the venue.
"I kept it down low, I don't think anybody knows to be honest," Maddocks told media yesterday on Waiheke Island.
He poked fun of himself and said he was happy to share some of his knowledge with his teammates.
"But if they want I will be happy to be a shoulder to lean on."
The outside back believes the 32-year drought for the Wallabies at Eden Park isn't weighing too heavy on his mind.
"I think I feel the weight of the loss, definitely last week was really disappointing."
Australia suffered a lopsided loss to the All Blacks, 38-13 in Sydney last Saturday, with Maddocks scoring his side's only try.
Jack Maddocks has jokingly wondered what all the fuss is after coming away with a win from his one visit to Eden Park, albeit it at Super Rugby level.
"But I don't think I feel the I guess the monkey on the back sort of thing which everyone seems to be talking about this week at Eden Park."
"It is my first experience there if I play in a Test match, I don't really feel that sort of stuff, I don't really get into it.
"It's a fresh start for me."
The All Blacks can lock away the Bledisloe Cup trophy with a win this weekend. The Wallabies haven't won the Bledisloe since 2002.
