Dane Coles, Beauden Barrett return to Hurricanes side for Super Rugby quarter-final

Star Hurricanes duo Dane Coles and Beauden Barrett will return to the field for their side's Super Rugby quarter-final against the Brumbies on Friday night.

The hooker said going to support his team-mates at games was incredibly difficult due to his head injury.

Coles has been named on the bench, having missed the last four months of the season with a concussion suffered against the Highlanders on March 18.

Ricky Riccitelli will start the match at hooker.

Barrett on the other hand missed the Hurricanes' victory over the Crusaders last Saturday with a sinus infection, returning to the number 10 jersey in the only change to the starting side.

Otere Black, who deputised for Barrett, drops to the bench.

Elsewhere, Jordie Barrett keeps his spot at centre for the clash, with Vince Aso ruled out with a groin strain for the second week in a row.

Halfback TJ Perenara will continue to lead the side with Coles on the bench.
