Former All Black Dan Carter has become a father for the third time after he and wife Honor welcomed their third child into the world this week.
Carter took to social media this morning to announce the arrival of Rocco Carter, posting a picture of his other two sons eagerly looking in on their new baby brother.
"Marco & Fox are proud new brothers," Carter tweeted. "We are excited to announce the arrival of Rocco George Carter, born 14th January. We are so grateful and couldn't be happier."
Marco was born in 2013 and Fox in 2015.
Honor has retired from hockey but Carter continued his playing career overseas after giving up the black jersey following the 2015 World Cup.
The 36-year-old's most recent venture saw him move to Japan, where he is currently on a two-year deal playing for the Kobelco Steelers.
Carter led the Steelers to the Top League title last year after thrashing Suntory Sungoliath 55-5, picking up the Most Valuable Player award for the competition in the process.
