HALFTIME - CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 7

The Brumbies have shown their intent, as they go into the break with an unlikely lead after a stellar first half performance. The Brumbies turned down several chances at goal and their gamble paid off with first-five Christian Leali'ifano scoring the only try of the match late in the first spell.

Owen Franks was penalised in the 27th minute for a dangerous shoulder charge tackle on Brumbies' centre Henry Speight. Discipline and mistakes have proved costly for the home team.

39 mins: CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 7

PENALTY! Crusaders' loosehead prop Joe Moody is penalised at scrum time for going down and the Brumbies get out of trouble. They have a line-out just outside their own 22.

38 mins: CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 7

DEFENCE! After a promising line-out drive by the Crusaders, the Brumbies manage to tie up the ball as the maul goes down. The Crusaders can't recycle the ball back and the Brumbies have a 5m defensive scrum with just a minute and a half remaining on the clock.

37 mins: CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 7

PENALTY! Crusaders' No.8 Kieran Read earns his side a much needed penalty at halfway. He manages to get himself over the ball in the tackle and the Brumbies are penalised for not releasing the ball in the tackle. Owen Franks' 10 minutes is up in the bin and he returns to the field.

33 mins: CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 7

TRY! Christian Leali'ifano takes on the Crusaders line, steps off his left foot twice and powers over to score the first five-pointer of the game. After another penalty the Brumbies go for a quick tap and go, and their gamble pays off.

NO TRY! After multiple attacking runs at the Crusaders' goal-line, the Brumbies fumble the ball over the try-line. The Brumbies have come to play as they went sideline to sideline on attack. A lucky escape for the home team as they earn themselves a defensive scrum deep in their 22.

19 mins: CRUSADERS 0 BRUMBIES 0

PENALTY! The Crusaders are penalised for an offside play deep in their own 22. The Brumbies turn down a shot at goal from a kickable position, they kick the ball into touch and have an attacking line-out 10m out of the Crusaders' goal-line.
