Reece is shut down by Damian McKenzie but he manages to offload the ball to Bryn Hall who goes in to score close to the goal posts.

And we are back underway! With Damian McKenzie kicking off deep towards the Crusaders.

HALFTIME - CRUSADERS 33 CHIEFS 7

The Crusaders were all over the visitors, scoring five tries to one against the Chiefs in the first spell. Poor decision making and defence is a huge area of concern for the Chiefs. Jack Goodhue, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan were on fire for the Crusaders with their charging runs on attack. It appears the Chiefs could be in for a long night if they don't tweak their attacking and defensive options.

35 mins: CRUSADERS 33 CHIEFS 7

TRY! Will Jordan is in for his second try of the match! The Crusaders have been relentless on counter attack, Jack Goodhue takes on the line before throwing a pass to Jordan Taufua.

The Cruasders loose forward then passes the pill to Whetu Douglas who offloads the ball to a charging Will Jordan. Looks like he's going to be tackled before the try-line but he breaks out of the tackle and goes all the way over the try-line.

Richie Mo'unga nails his conversion attempt and the Chiefs are in all sorts of trouble right now.

28 mins: CRUSADERS 26 CHIEFS 7

TRY! The Chiefs have no answer for the Crusaders' attack. This time it is hooker Andrew Makalio who powers over to score. He runs a great line off his halfback Ere Enari, has good low body position and is in for the Crusaders' fourth try of the match.

Richie Mo'unga fires his conversion kick in between the goal posts from out wide.

23 mins: CRUSADERS 19 CHIEFS 7

TRY! A great set move from the Crusaders at scrum time with Will Jordan powering 35m to his way over to the try-line. Ryan Crotty throws an inside ball to his teammate Jordan and he's away, there was acres of space in behind the Chiefs. Looks like he might have come up short but the ref rules he grounded the ball over the try-line.

Richie Mo'unga nails his conversion attempt.

17 mins: CRUSADERS 12 CHIEFS 7

TRY! Taleni Seu does it himself! The Crusaders are penalised three times inside their own 22 and the Chiefs finally get over for their first try of the match. The Chiefs opt for a scrum deep inside the Crusaders' 22 and Seu decides to take the ball himself, he carries two players with him over the try-line.

Damian McKenzie lands his conversion attempt and the Chiefs now trail 12-7.

9 mins: CRUSADERS 12 CHIEFS 0

TRY! Chiefs first-five tries to throw a skip ball out to his winger but it is Crusaders' winger Sevu Reece who pops up and makes an intercept. He puts on the after burners and goes all the way to score.

Richie Mo'unga is unsuccessful with his second conversion attempt.

5 mins: CRUSADERS 7 CHIEFS 0

TRY! It all started with a break from Crusaders' right winger Sevu Reece who regathered a mistimed cross field kick from Damian McKenzie. Jack Goodhue recieves the ball down the left flank and he sucks in two defenders before throwing a brilliant offload for his winger Braydon Ennor to score the first five-pointer of the match.

Richie Mo'unga is online with his conversion attempt from the sideline.
