The Crusaders were all over the visitors, scoring five tries to one against the Chiefs in the first spell. Poor decision making and defence is a huge area of concern for the Chiefs. Jack Goodhue, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan were on fire for the Crusaders with their charging runs on attack. It appears the Chiefs could be in for a long night if they don't tweak their attacking and defensive options.

Ryan Crotty throws an inside ball to his teammate Jordan and he's away, there was acres of space in behind the Chiefs. Looks like he might have come up short but the ref rules he grounded the ball over the try-line.

TRY! Taleni Seu does it himself! The Crusaders are penalised three times inside their own 22 and the Chiefs finally get over for their first try of the match. The Chiefs opt for a scrum deep inside the Crusaders' 22 and Seu decides to take the ball himself, he carries two players with him over the try-line.
