Bullet pass! Aaron Smith fires off masterful skip pass to set up Waisake Naholo's easy try against Wallabies

October 22, 2017

Aaron Smith was at his play-making best early in the All Blacks' Bledisloe Test clash with the Wallabies in Brisbane last night after a blistering skip pass to winger Waisake Naholo led to the New Zealand side's first try.

After the All Blacks built up relentless pressure through the forwards with small charges off the ruck inside the Australian 22, Smith spotted Naholo unmarked on the right wing and didn't hesitate to fire it out to him.

Naholo took the catch with ease and strolled in for five points in the All Blacks' first try of the night.

The pinpoint passing wasn't enough though as the All Blacks eventually went down to the Wallabies 23-18.
