All Blacks stalwart Brodie Retallick is reportedly weighing up an offer to play in the English Premiership after this year's World Cup.

Newshub reports The 27-year-old lock has been offered a NZ$1.9million deal to play for the Sale Sharks next season after the club's efforts to sign England international Joe Launchbury stalled.

Retallick has played 73 Tests for the All Blacks and is set to make his 100th Super Rugby appearance for the Chiefs later this year, with 94 to his name already.

Retallick becomes the latest to have his name tied to an offshore move - with the likes of captain Kieran Read, midfielder Ryan Crotty and more fielding offers as well.

The Hawke's Bay lock is considered one of the best at his position in the world, having won the World Rugby Player of the Year award in 2014 before being a significant part of the All Blacks' winning campaign at the 2015 World Cup.
