Bernard Foley will be feeling the tole of a bruising win over the All Blacks this morning after taking a massive hit from Ofa Tu'ungafasi late in the Wallabies' win in Brisbane last night.
After a strong run up the middle of the field, the Wallabies reset and looked to attack just outside the All Blacks' 22.
Foley ran onto a pass from the back of the ruck looking for a couple of metres while the All Blacks' defences reset but in the process failed to see one defender lined up and ready to shut him down.
Tu'ungafasi landed a perfect hit on the Wallabies' first-five, sending the ball flying and leaving briefly on his hands and knees before eventually getting to his feet.
The aching will be worth it though after Foley and his team secured last night's final Bledisloe Test 23-18.
