'Your mum would be incredibly proud' - Hilary Barry holds back tears with Paralympics hero Adam Hall

The Seven Sharp host spent the day with the gold medallist, who paid a special tribute to his mum who died in a car crash in 2010

New Zealand's Paralympic Winter Olympians are back from Korea with an impressive medal hall and Seven Sharp co-host Hilary Barry caught up with gold medallist Adam Hall yesterday.

The skier's mother died in a car crash a month after winning gold in Vancouver in 2010.

"You're mum would be incredibly proud," Barry said to Hall as she held back tears.

Mr Hall paid a special tribute to his mum when he received his gold medal in PyeongChang at this years Paralympic Winter Games.
