Watch: No! America's Cup legend Peter Burling spectacularly wipes out TWICE at World Moth Championships

Peter Burling's latest sailing venture has taken a dramatic dive after the Kiwi sailor crashed twice while racing at the Moth class world championships on Lake Garda in Italy today.

It saw the victorious America's Cup helmsman slip from fifth to 15th overall.

Burling, the 2015 world moth champion, eventually finished eighth and 11th in today's two races.

Defending world champion Paul Goodison continues to lead the regatta.

The English sailor has won all four races at the event so far.
