Watch: Lights out! UFC fighter lines up perfect headshot before devastating elbow puts rival to sleep

Veteran mixed martial arts fighter Matt Brown has delivered one of 2017's most memorable knockouts, yesterday flooring Diego Sanchez with a vicious elbow in the first round.

The 36-year-old struggled to land early shots against Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 120 in Virginia, USA until his opponent attempted a kick while on the ground.

But Brown caught Sanchez's foot and made him back pedal into the netting of the octagon where he lined up a perfect headshot.

Michael Johnson lost the plot but at least later apologised to Dustin Poirier:” It was an emotional week”.
