Watch: Kiwi cyclist on verge of being sick while taking on Queenstown bungy with Queen's Baton

December 18, 2017

Randall won a bronze medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, part of the NZ pursuit team.

New Zealand cyclist Matt Randall faced his fear of heights by taking on the Queenstown bungy swing today.

The 2002 Commonwealth bronze medal winner took on the challenge while holding onto the Queen's Baton.

Randall, 39, clearly looked rattled before doing the swing, and looked a little worse for wear while in the air.

The Kiwi cyclist poked his tongue out in celebration after completing the challenge.

The Queen's Baton arrived in Auckland today and will travel around the country until next week, completing the final leg of a 230,000km journey to the Gold Coast, ahead of April's games.
