Joseph Parker has taken time out of his busy schedule preparing for his WBO heavyweight title defence to cast an early vote in the NZ General Election.
After six rounds of sparring in the morning, Parker spent the day in London visiting the New Zealand House where he cast his vote.
Parker opted to vote early to keep focused on his upcoming bout with undefeated Briton Hughie Fury which falls on the same date as the election - September 23.
"I think it's important to get in there and get my vote in and vote for the party I like," he said.
"For me, it was an easy decision - I know who I wanted to vote for."
Parker's fight takes place the morning after the General Election on September 24 NZT.
