Two of New Zealand’s most versatile cyclists, Michael Vink and former triathlete Kate McIlroy, have gone back-to-back at the pioneer mountain bike race, which was in Queenstown today.

The pair won the gruelling team event alongside Tim Rush and Amy Hollamby respectively, with the six-day event made even tougher through the huge storm on the West Coast.
