Shredded Kiwi boxer Joseph Parker weighs in heavier than rival Alexander Flores

December 14, 2018

Parker weighed in at 109.25kg with Mexican-American Flores tipping the scales at 107.95kg.

Kiwi heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has a slight weight advantage over his Mexican-American rival Alexander Flores, weighing in at 109.25kg in Christchurch.

Parker, 26, flexed and posed for media after his weigh-in today, with his opponent weighing in at 107.95kg.

"This is the sort of fight that either elevates us to the top again and we can fight in the bigger fights next year or it will take a lot longer if we lose," said Parker.

"But I'm not planning to lose, I'm planning to win and win well. I feel like I'm in good shape so I'm looking forward to a good performance."

Parker is coming off two loses, going down to Anthony Joshua by a points decision loss in April in Cardiff and losing by unanimous decision to Dillan Whyte in July in London.
