'Parker will KO him' - Tyson Fury backing Kiwi heavyweight to take down Anthony Joshua in potential future bout

November 17, 2017

Eddie Hearn says that they are eyeing the Kiwi heavyweight in the middle of next year.

Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker would have no trouble knocking out rival Anthony Joshua, according to former champion Tyson Fury.

Fury, 29, is eyeing a comeback to the ring, having not fought since defeating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, looking to reclaim his titles vacated in the absence from competition.

Parker’s camp announced today that they are in negotiations with setting up a fight with British boxing star Anthony Joshua.

However, with talk of the three heavyweight champions' (Parker, Joshua and Deontay Wilder) desire to unify the division, Fury made it clear which fighter he thinks has the best shot of becoming the world champion.

"If Anthony Joshua fights Joseph Parker I will bet anybody in the world £5000 cash the [that] Parker will ko him?," Fury tweeted.

Earlier this week, Parker hit out at Anthony Joshua's team, believing the British fighter's camp was lowballing him in talks of a unification bout.
