NZ beach handball team heading to the world champs - but not before braving a Wellington winter on the beach

Another world championship is looming in Russia – the one for beach handball - and our national team is going for the first time.

Another world championship is looming in Russia – this one for beach handball -  and New Zealand is going for the first time.

Although preparations haven't been easy with many of the team forced to brave a Wellington winter on the beach in order to train after the indoor facility they were using closed down.
