Former Warriors and Kiwis winger Manu Vatuvei will make an appearance in the boxing ring, confirmed to be squaring off against Dave "Brown Buttabean" Letele next month, according to reports from Stuff.
Vatuvei, 32, has returned to Auckland from the English Super League, released by the Salford Red Devils after a horrendous run with injuries. He will now face Letele on the Joseph Parker v Alexander Flores undercard on December 15 in Christchurch.
Letele, 39, has history in the ring with the Vatuvei family, defeating Manu's older brother Lopini in 2014.
The younger Vatuvei has been training with the likes of Monty Betham and David Tua, looking to gain fitness ahead of next month's bout.
Duco Events are expected to confirm the news tomorrow morning.
