Kiwi Cody Harris has been knocked out of the World Darts Championships in London, losing a five-set thriller to Wales' Jamie Lewis.
Initially down two-sets, Harris produced a spirited fightback to level the scores at 2-2 to force a decider.
In the final set, Harris would again find himself down by two legs, before rallying once again to bring the scores level at two-sets, two legs apiece.
However, Lewis held his nerve, taking out the deciding leg to advance to the third round at the expense of the Kiwi hopeful.
Harris yesterday made history in London, becoming the first Kiwi to advance to the second round with a 3-2 opening round win over Martin Schindler.
