Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker is putting his hand up for another crack at heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, after the Englishman's next opponent Jarrell Miller tested positive for a banned substance.
With ESPN yesterday reporting that Miller tested positive for GW1516, the June 1 bout at Madison Square Garden finds itself under a cloud of uncertainty, with Joshua's American debut potentially in doubt in the forseeable future.
Having lost his WBO title to Joshua in April last year, Parker says he's prepared to step into the ring at short notice, wanting redemption against the Brit.
Asked on Twitter about whether or not he's prepared to take on Joshua once again, Parker's reply was simply "Very ready and willing."
Parker has been linked with a fight against England's Dereck Chisora in July, however a rematch with Joshua would almost certainly take precedence for the Kiwi fighter in a bid to regain his world title.
