Joseph Parker has 'a range of great comeback options' says promoter

July 29, 2018

David Higgins is confident this morning's loss to Dillian Whyte isn't the end for Parker.

Despite suffering back to back losses, Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker's career is not over, insists promoter David Higgins.

After defeat at the hands of Anthony Joshua in April, coupled with this morning's loss to Whyte, the previously undefeated Parker is at a crossroads in his career, with options of his next fight appearing slim.

However, Duco Events boss Higgins remains confident that he'll be able to secure another route to the top for his prize fighter.

"Finding the right comeback opportunity won't be hard," Higgins said.

"I'm very confident that there'll be a range of great comeback options for Joseph Parker, if he wants to come back - and I've heard nothing to suggest he doesn't.

"I can guarantee you, there are a range of solid comeback options on the table."
