Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker is being touted as a possible opponent to face Britian's Tyson Fury, with the former champion having signed a deal to see him fight in the USA.
With Fury last week penning a deal with Bob Arum's Top Rank and ESPN, the anticipated rematch with WBC champion Deontay Wilder has been thrown into doubt, competing with HBO's Showtime, who Wilder is signed with.
As a result, ESPN have put together a new list of potential opponents for Fury to face in the USA, with former WBO heavyweight champion Parker in the mix to take on the self-dubbed 'Gypsy King'.
"Parker (25-2, 19 KOs) is still considered a pretty solid heavyweight by today's standards and is currently ranked No 8 by ESPN.com at heavyweight," ESPN's Steve Kim writes.
The Kiwi fighter was on the edge of his seat during Sunday's bout.
"And once again, given that he has no long-term commitment to any platform in America, he seems to be unhindered in terms of accepting this assignment."
Parker has not fought since December 2018, defeating Alexander Flores in Christchurch, having failed to agree terms to face Dereck Chisora in London.
Other names on the list include the likes of Jarrell Miller, Dillian Whyte, Kubrat Pulev, and WBO, WBA and IBF champion, Anthony Joshua.
