November 20, 2018

Higashino admitted he's afraid of heights but said, "it should be alright".

Japanese motocross star Taka Higashino will attempt a world record by popping a wheelie around the entire Auckland Sky Tower's Sky Walk today.

He took his first look at the track which is 192m in the air yesterday.

"It looks skinny so I don't know, it makes me nervous but it should be alright," said Higashino.

He admitted at a press conference yesterday that he is afraid of heights.

The stunt is a promotion for New Zealand's first  Supercross Open at Mount Smart, which is now under an extra 6000 tonnes of dirt.

With 25,000 tickets sold it’ll be the biggest competitive action sports and supercross event held in Auckland
