Full interview: Candid Terenzo Bozzone speaks on camera for the first time since near-fatal accident

In July last year, Kiwi fans feared the worst when Ironman champion Terenzo Bozzone was left fighting for his life aftera hit and run while cycling in Kumeu, north-west of Auckland.

For Bozzone though, the accident was merely a speed bump, taking each step on the road to recovery in his stride.

Nearly eight months on, 33-year old Bozzone today appeared on camera for the first time since his accident, talking to 1 NEWS' Michelle Prendiville.

The reigning Ironman champion talked everything from his recovery, to getting his career back on track, as he bids to put the near fatal accident behind him once and for all.
