Canterbury teen on the cusp of turning love of scooter riding into full-time professional career

Seven Sharp’s Mike Thorpe met with Kahu Day-Brown.

A Canterbury kid has turned his love of scooter riding into a career after signing a pro contract with Madd Gear.

Kahu Day-Brown is focused on his education but says he wants to gain the credits he needs as quickly as possible to leave school so he can go professional for good.

Having already experienced success at scooter competitions in New Zealand and Australia, Kahu's eyeing Europe.

"My next goal would be to go to Barcelona - the world champions verses everyone in the world."
