'They won while I was here!' Jenny-May reports Mystics do-or-die success

It's not often a sports presenter can deliver the news on her own team, but as the assistant coach of the Northern Mystics netball team, I can report the team lives to fight another day.

This afternoon's game was a biggie for both the Mystics and Tactix with the winner through to the playoffs of the ANZ Championship.

The game was a tight tussle until the third quarter, when the Mystics went up a gear and blew the game wide open to take a nine goal lead.

The final score was 62-54.

Despite Maria Tutaia not knowing where the team is off to, the Mystics now play in Hamilton against the Magic next weekend for a sudden death playoff game.
