'That's the plan' – Silver Ferns out for revenge in Taini Jamison Trophy showdown with England

Silver Ferns shooter Bailey Mes has said that the side will be out for revenge when they meet England to compete for the Taini Jamison trophy.

The Roses claimed a 49-45 upset win when the two teams met in their Quad Series match in Auckland last week, before the Silver Ferns claimed series honours with a resounding win over Australia in Invercargill yesterday.

Speaking to 1 NEWS today, Mes spoke of her side's hunger as they look forward to three more Tests against the Roses.

"We want to win obviously," Mes said.

"After that performance against them (England) in Auckland last week, we'll definitely be wanting to put some better stuff out there."

Mes was then asked about the idea of getting revenge for the defeat.

"Potentially! That's the plan."
