Storm Purvis has been handed the captaincy as New Zealand seek a fifth straight Fast5 world netball title.
Silver Ferns' Storm Purvis against Jamaica
The Northern Mystics defender will lead a 10-strong Fast5 Ferns squad for the tournament in Melbourne on October 28-29.
The line-up includes shooter Ameliaranne Ekenasio, making a return after the birth of her first child.
Coach Kiri Wills, in charge of the squad for the second year, says the selection contains a mix of players who will bring speed, flair and creativity.
"Fast5 is an exciting product and that's how we'll be hoping to play," she said.
"We're going over there to win the title."
New Zealand have won the championship six of the seven times it has been held, missing out in 2011 when England took the honours.
Fast5 Ferns: Jamie Hume, Ameliaranne Ekenasio, Monica Falkner, Maia Wilson, Erikana Pederson, Whitney Souness, Kayla Cullen, Storm Purvis (captain), Zoe Walker, Temalisi Fakahokatau.
