Southern Steel cruises to victory with win over Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic

The Southern Steel have cruised to victory against the Waikato Bay ot Plenty Magic.

The defending champions were too strong for Magic, clinching a 63-48 win in Hamilton last night.

Steep skipper Gina Crampton said she was pleased with her side's performance.

"Not only do we have to back it up, we've got to back it up against the Pulse so a massive weekend for us. We've had a few people under the weather as well so really pleased with that [performance]."
