Silver Ferns' centre Laura Langman has announced today that she has inked a deal for the Sunshine Coast Lightning for the 2019 Australia Super Netball season.

The mid-courter will link up with current head coach of the Silver Ferns Noeline Taurua, who has coached the Lightning since 2017.

"Sunshine Coast Lightning holds a special place in my heart and I’m eager to take to the court once again with such an incredible group of players," said Langman.

She was part of the Lightning squad in 2017 but then took a year off to take a break away from netball.

"It was a difficult decision to step away from the Super Netball league last year and I'm excited to be re-joining the fold.

"Lightning's Club culture resonates strongly with me and I've made no secret of my high regard for Noeline Taurua's coaching style.

"I feel incredibly privileged to be afforded the opportunity to play under her leadership at Lightning and as part of the Silver Ferns."

The Sunshine Coast Lightning have won the Super Netball title the last two seasons.
